I just learned of Frank's passing. I am so sorry that he is gone. I was a customer of his at Newell Texaco for many years and I always enjoyed working with Frank. He was competent, fair minded and always cheerful. My condolences to his family.

Frank was a special man who I had the good fortune to know over many years. Whether it was visiting him with my father at Newell Texaco while he fixed something I likely broke or working with him years later at Thompson Dental Company. He was always warm, always kind and always a good friend.
My thoughts and prayers go out to his entire family. He will be missed by many.

Mr. Gulledge was a great man! I will always remeber the fun times I had as a kid playing with Dana at her home and how sweet both her mom and dad were to me! Mr. Gulledge always had a smile for me and my dad when we would stop by the shop. He will be greatly missed but always remembered with a big smile.

Frank was more of an older brother than an uncle and our "growing-up" years were filled with wonderful memories. I will greatly miss knowing that he was always there picking up where we left off last..always caring, never missing a beat. But most of all, I will miss his "bear" hugs and warm brown eyes. How very blessed I am that he was a part of my life....until we meet again.

When Frank was born, the mold wasn't broken because there was no mold to begin with...Frank was one of a kind from the very beginning, and his obit was on the money: he never met a stranger. We met in the 3rd grade at Elizabeth Elementary, Charlotte, and his phone call of about a month ago I will treasure. Frank was a one of God's grace-gifts in this life, and we can take comfort in knowing that he now rests in the presence of the Gentle Shepherd.

To the family, please know that Frank will be missed. When I came to work he had placed lots of funny notes in my office. He always had a smile on his face. He will be truly missed. I kept in touch to see how the wife and daughter were doing. and of course the grands, His pride and joy. My God be with you in these times. I will never forget him.
