He was a wonderful teacher of speech at Central State University. He could captivate the attention of all in the class but could make your nervousness disappear.
I am just learning of his passing. So very sorry

Brother Hale:

Your humility, responsibility, accountability, and deep love for equality among human beings is the greatest lesson that I copied from you. You touched so many lives in a positive way, during your short and brief residence on planet earth. A thousand years from now, your name will still be a guiding and shining star, guiding the restless and lost souls on our only home, "Planet Earth."

My condolences goes out to your family Dr. Hale & I just read about your passing. I did not know you personally but you've made a difference and touched so many lives =o)May God Bless you and keep you, Love you Mr. Hale

To the family of Dr. Hale you have my deepest sympathies. I was a freshman at Ohio State University in 1976 when I began working with Dr. Hale. I stayed only one year with him but it was the best year. He taught me so much. He was a great leader and inspiration. Rest Brother Hale.

O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory? For those who rest in the arms of Jesus, there is only sweet peace! And for the beloved family, there is assurance that Dr. Hale's did faithfully complete his duty, as a good man ought ...he contributed beauty, to a world up wrougt...He spread love's message, as the Master taught...and his living was not be in vain.
Respectfully,

Dr. Hale held a special place in my heart for over 30 years. I worked for him while I was a student in the late 70's & kept in touch throughout the years after school & while working at OSU. I still have a copy of "Sunlight & Shadows" autographed by him. My heartfelt sympathy goes out to loved ones. He will be missed by so many.

Dr Frank Hale Jr will be greatly missed by all who knew him. My husband and I remembered seeing him speak at South Fountain SDA Church in Springfield OH (approximately 2 yrs ago.) He had a very kind and giving heart.

To the Hale Family, please know that Dr. F. W. Hale is blessed - "Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord... that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them" Rev.14:13
We are blessed to have known him and his myriad accomplishments. I did not know him directly, but learned more of him (after I left Oakwood '61) that "A Mind IS A Terrible Thing To Waste".

Remember, He's the God of love who holds this bitter cup to your lips to drink. Drink deeply...
