It has been almost one year since Frank died and I want to say just how much I miss him. All of my memories are so wrapped up with him and his son Frankie. They are so intertwined and mingled. I know it must be hard for Frankie to look around and see so many memories of us together and know that his father is gone. Time heals most wounds, but I doubt my heart will ever heal until I find some peace. I'm sure my husband feels the same way.

I was out of town when "Uncle Frank" passed away and learned of it on my return. Frank was such a dear with my Aunt Catherine; he gave her life much needed joy. My family, especially my daughters when they were young, enjoyed his presence - he was so sweet with them. What an interesting man he was! His book, Precious, was a gift to my family as he recounted the sad and happy times Aunt Catherine experienced and, with it, some of our family history told to him by her. I know you miss him greatly.

I was blessed with the pleasure of knowing Mr. Horine. He was a participant in a research study I worked on at the VA. Even after it was completed, he visited with us whenever he had time between appointments. I remember him bringing me "Precious" to review. He possessed a sweet, kind spirit and will be missed. My condolences and prayers go out to your family.

we are so deeply sorry for the loss of your grandpa he was a very sweet person he we will miss him very very much

We will always remember our day with "cousin" Frank and remembering our Horine ancestors. He was a true Southern Gentleman, a loving father, and a good man. We will all miss him.

Mr. Horine was a fine person, and I am happy that I was allowed to know and care for him.
