HUGHES, Frank Allen Jr., 81, of Richmond, went to be with the Lord June 22, 2013. He was preceded in death by his brother, William Hughes. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Nancy; three children, four grandchildren; and a sister, Anne Rogers. He will be missed by his faithful dog, George. He was a retired Major in the U.S. Army, a veteran of Vietnam, a member of St Michael's Episcopal Church, a member of BAMM Lions Club for 33 years, a recipient of the Melvin Jones Fellow Award, and a grandfather extraordinaire. A memorial celebration will be held 4 p.m. Wednesday at St. Michael's Episcopal Church, 8706 Quaker Lane, Richmond, Va. 23235. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Michael's Episcopal Church, and/or the Manchester Lions Club.

I am so sorry to hear of Frank's passing. My thoughts and prayers are with you and the rest of the family. May the wonderful memories and knowing how much others care help to ease the pain.
Oh what wonderful memories I myself have, his wonderful personality and sense of humor could always make me smile....laugh. The wonderful marriage,love and relationship you two had was so special!
