Great American

Frank was the kind of guy who always exuded confidence. When running the Cooper River Bridge Run or investigating crime for the Solicitor's office, he always inspired people to do their best in every facet of life. I covered a lot of news with Frank O. We were competitors in print and broadcast, but colleagues as fellow journalists trying to provide fact-based and objective reporting. He was be if the last who was at home on the anchor desk as in the field. The world sorely needs his level of journalism. Another friend gone, another one of the good guys... RIP

Ms. Sheila and family I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Praying God wraps you in His arms during this time. I remember fondly when Mr. Frank visited our Nursing School classroom.

So sad to hear. Frank was a friend to all. Enjoyed our interaction on Facebook Good man will be missed! Salute brother!!

I remember meeting Frank sometime in the early '80s. He came to my house and interviewed my father who at the time was a detective with the Charleston Police Department. And he discussed about the ballistics of certain firearms in the patterns. Very nice man very polite. Prayers and peace for your loved ones Godspeed

Dear Sheila and family, I"ve known Frank since we were kids and we all called him Olin. He was always nice polite and had a smile. I would run into him quite often. I will miss seeing him. God Bless!!
