Not sure what to say?

I don't regularly read local news from my hometown Kalamazoo, Michigan. Sadly, I learned about the passing of Frank today (October 15, 2021). In the late 1960s Frank was my undergraduate television production mentor at Western Michigan University. His direction of the Instructional Media Services program at WMU was more than extraordinary. He encouraged his students to develop their maximum potential to enhance the quality of community through mass media. During the 1980s and...

I served on a non-profit board with Frank and got to know him during that time. He was always fun to work with and had many great stories to tell while getting down to business. He was a champion for community media and will be greatly missed. Thank you Frank for all your contributions to local media and free speech.

Frank was a very kind man. And funny and caring. We lost a good one person. His curiosity is alive in the universe....carry on Frank

Frank and I were good friends the whole 25 years we were together at WMU. We shared good times and not so good times but always enjoyed life and looked forward to the future. I always loved bumping into him unexpectedly after we both retired. I will miss you, dear friend.

I was so very sorry to have learned of dear Frank's passing! Although our acquaintance was all too brief, having met and worked with him and Paula at Kalamazoo Public Media, doing a series of programs for the Sambodh Society and BVI School of Ayurveda in Kalamazoo, he left me with an impression of great kindness and generosity in sharing his considerable expertise. May his beautiful soul continue to shine out on us all from Paradise, and may he continue to live in the hearts of all his family...

While we did not get to spend a lot of time with Frank, we very much enjoyed the time we did have together.

A loving friend and caring colleague, ever cheerful and helpful. I have the fondest memories of him video recording my talks and visiting my ashrams in India. His passing is a great loss to me personally and to The Sambodh Society, Inc. I join Paula and family in their grief.

What a great guy.! I am lucky to have been a friend of Frank's.
Best wishes to Paula and her family.
