Not sure what to say?

I was honored to room with Frank at both Andover and Harvard. He was truly an inspiration at both institutions.
We had lunch at John Kennedy's table in the Union Oyster House just weeks before his death. He had complete command of our joint history and the history of the world. He will be missed by that world. Cliff Crosby '46,'50.

Professor Frank Jones was one of few role models of African-American faculty at MIT during my years on campus. Mount Holyoke extends its deepest sympathies to Frank Jones' family. The College, and indeed the field of higher education, owes its gratitude to Professor Jones for his many years of transformative leadership.
