Frank L. Joranko

Dear Joyce, we are so saddened to hear of Frank's passing. You and Frank have been such leaders in any community you live in, showing compassion and love to all you encounter. We were so glad to have known you both at Central and will keep you in our prayers, Joyce. May God bless you and keep you.

Frank was a great teacher, coach, and person! He made life better for those around him.

Coach Joranko was very impactful in many young men and woman lives. As a coach, educator, father and friend , Coach touched the soul, raised awareness of humanity and became a light of hope in all of us that knew him. He'll be missed by so many. My heart goes out to his family at this time of mourning.

I remember Mr. Joranko from my years at Ferndale HS. RIP Frank.

Sending prayers to Mr. Joranko's family during this difficult time. I was a student at Ferndale High School from 1961 - 1965 and I remember him from all the sporting events.

Frank was my 10th grade English teacher. He was friends with my mother who was the office secretary at Dondero High School. I followed his career at Albion where my daughter was a music major. Frank was an excellent teacher who inspired his students to go beyond the text books and help us learn to appreciate poetry and the beauty of our language. John E Rennels
