Frye Funeral Home, Inc. Obituary

Frank Kaczmarek Sr., 82, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, November 2, 2023.  He was born August 24, 1941 to the late Walter and Anna Mucha Kaczmarek.

Frank was a 1959 graduate of Donora High School.  He was a member of St. Andrew the Apostle Parish in Monongahela.  He was employed at Motor Supply in Donora for 25 years.  After retirement, he worked along side his lifelong friend, Tom Sverck, at CSC Insurance until his passing.

Frank was the patriarch to his family and beloved Pop Pop to his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Frank enjoyed spending time at his cabin, watching NASCAR, and most of all riding his tractor.  Frank always had a smile on his face, a positive spirit that was contagious and will be dearly missed by everyone who was blessed enough to know him.

He is survived by his high school sweetheart and beautiful wife of nearly sixty four years, Phyllis Lazzari Kaczmarek; two sons, Frank (Michele) Kaczmarek Jr. of Carroll Township, Gary Kaczmarek of Finleyville; daughter, Christine (John) Rossi of Carroll Township; seven grandchildren, Nicole (Josh) Hickey, Erica (Angelo) Genchur, Ryan (Bryan) Kaczmarek, Maria (Kyle) Shannon, Dimitri (Mitzi) Rossi, Nick Kaczmarek, Evan Kaczmarek; eight great grandchildren, Jocelyn, Sadie, Giada, Luke, Faith, Giuliana, Grayson, and Jack.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Walter Kaczmarek.

Friends will be received on Tuesday, November 7, 2023 from 12:30 - 2:00 PM in the Frye Funeral Home, Inc., 427 W. Main Street, Monongahela, where a blessing service will be held at 2:00 PM with the Rev. Gerald Mikonis officiating.

Following the blessing service at the funeral home, the family would like to extend an invitation to a funeral luncheon at the Monongahela Valley Country Club.

I am a former co-worker of Frank's from CSC Insurance. There was never a day when he didn't have something good to say - even the days he was in pain. Always a smile and a twinkle in his eye. I'm glad I had the chance to know him for many years. My sincere condolences to his family and friends.
