I can't think of a single time when having any interaction with Dr. Karfes that he was not only friendly, courteous, respectful and just a joy to be around. So glad to have known him and his lovely wife whenever either of them came to SVCH Radiology Dept. Our lives are better having known them.

Dr. Karfes was a very special person to everyone here at the Greater Cleveland Dental Society! He will be greatly missed!

Dr. Karfes was a treasure and an inspiration. His contribution to the dental community and his fortunate patients are unmatched. RIP Dr. Karfes. Thank you for everything.

I am from Hermitage PA. very good friends of Franks family in Grove City. His sister Theo and I were very good friends as well as his mother. Franks cousin Sorell was my brother John Godfather. Dr Karfes was a dear friend of our father Dr TJ Maximin, who passed away in 2005. They shared work and many laughs together at St Vincent We will not forget my dad´s 70th birthday dinner that included Dr Karfes I had the privilege of chatting with him at St V until 2020 He was a charming, wonderful gentleman and he will be missed His spirit and love will be with you all

On occasion, Dr. Karfes would see patients at Marymount Hospital. He was beloved by the surgical staff; a kind, gentle and funny man. It was a privilege to have worked with him.
