Gerry I met you at one of the Rycoline meetings I just found out about Frank I am so sorry to hear about his passing. I thought the world of Frank he is a good person that helped me in learning the newspaper business I respected Frank and thought of him has a father figure I am so sorry fo your loss.

Gerry and the Kreppel Family,
Initially I want to convey my deepest sympathies to everyone. Because of business comittments that could not be cancelled I was unable to come to Buffalo. Frank, although he didn't know it at the time, changed the direction of where my career and life would eventually end up. Frank in his very persuasive manner suggested that I attempt to be a salesman because if I didn't we might come to blows if I stayed in production. We had so many good times together...

I met Frank about 20 years ago when I was still on the floor at Newsday. I last spoke to him two weeks ago. Through my time as Pressroom Manager and after I retired two and a half years ago, the man never changed. He was one of the few honorable and genuine people I’ve had the privilege of knowing.
