FRANK JOSEPH LANKARGE

1935 - 2016

LANKARGE, FRANK JOSEPH, Frank Joseph Lankarge, 80, of Clinton, CT, passed away on Thursday, March 3, 2016 after battling a long illness. Frank was born in Whately, MA on October 2, 1935. He was the devoted husband of Diane Lankarge for 47 years. Frank will be greatly missed by his daughter Jennifer Christopher and her husband Peter of Higganum, CT and his son Robert Lankarge and his wife Stacey of Moodus, CT. Frank will be forever loved by his four wonderful grandsons, Merrick and Braden Lankarge and Declan and Liam Christopher. Frank served his country in the United States Army from 1956 – 1963. After the Army, Frank enjoyed a career in retail and also worked for the CT Water Company for 11 years. Frank was a warm and caring person who had a great sense of humor. He loved music and enjoyed playing the accordion. Frank was an avid animal lover especially for his Black Labradors, Holley and Max. Frank was a caring soul and will never be forgotten. Calling hours for family and friends of Frank will be at the Swan Funeral Home, 80 E Main Street, Clinton, CT 06413 on Monday, March 7, 2016 from 3 pm to 6 pm.
