Not sure what to say?

It is sad to see Mr. Lautenberg pass on. He was progressive, hard working and caring for the citizens as our Senator, and his Service of our country in WWII cannot be forgotten. Rest in Peace. Sal Pauciello

My heart goes out to the Lautenberg family. I remember playing with Lisa and Josh at their house on Stonebridge Road when we were kids. I loved living in Montclair.

Mr. & Mrs. Lautenberg were always so gracious towards me.

It broke my heart to hear of his passing. Mr. Lautenberg was such a nice man and he will be greatly missed.

I know first hand how difficult it is losing a father that you love so much. I lost my dad three years ago May 19th and not a day goes by that I...

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived.

As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends.

I would like to extend my condolences to the family. Death is never something we get use to. But know during this time you are not alone. Our Creator promises better days ahead. He will give you the strength needed to get through this difficult time.

I watched the Senator walk around the rubble from Sandy with President and Governor. My heart ached, but Senator Lautenberg was stalwart. The last surviving member of Congress of WWII. He reminded me of my father. Men of that era were built differently; thinking of themselves, always came last. I pray that tour of the devastation was not the cause of his passing. But want you to know, there are few of the Senator's ilk remaining and I honor Senator Lautenberg and his service.

Thank you so much for your service to the state of New Jersey. Sadly, I am afraid we won't find the link of you again. My condolences to your family..Catherine Albair, Marlton NJ
