Not sure what to say?

frank was not only a great asset to the Newark police department, aloving husband, a wonderful father,he and his wonderful wife gave so much of their time to the youth in roselle park, he will be missed by all that knew him.

Frank was always a gentleman. What a great guy to be around. He loved his wife Viola and was a great father to his kids. Worked the Tac Force with him and many times his sense of humor carried the day for all of us. A beautiful human being who blessed anyone who came in his path. I was privileged to be one of those people to get to know Frank.
May the Lord comfort the Leonardis family.
Sincerely,
Ed Adelman NPD Captain (Ret)

Worked quite a few years with Frank on the
Newark P.D.and had many pleasant experiences
with him and many laughs. Besides being a good cop his priority was always about his family and shared many stories about them, especially his loving wife Viola whom he adored with all his heart.

Rest in Peace my friend.
Capt.Frank Cefalu (Ret).

Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family in this time of sorrow.

Worked for Frank in the East District "Safe Streets Unit". A great man, what a pleasure to work for him. Love to do the "Star Ledger" cross word puzzle each day. Of course knew young Frank very well he used to live near my son Billy in Howell. I fact there was where I last met Frank and Mrs Leonardis. My sincere condolence to all. R.I.P Frank.

I worked with Frank in the Tactical Force. Good Cop and a gentlemen. I was more than proud to call him my friend..

Worked with Frank in the Tactical Patrol Force in the 70's. Great cop and a greater human being. I never heard anyone say a bad word about him. He was loved and respected by all. Heartfelt condolences to his family.
