Frank E. Letherby

I have never had the pleasure of meeting Frank. But every year I see his memoriam posted & think of how special he must of been to his loved ones + colleagues.

Frank was the consummate educator!! He loved what he did and he did it so well. He was such a support to me for the ten years I was President of the East Grand Rapids Teachers Association. Frank taught my son that grammar is important and how to use it. Jason held him in great regard, too. He is so missed. I know those angels are much better at how to correctly write and punctuate these last 5 years than they were before Frank joined them. Rest in peace great educator!

It was both a pleasure and an honor to teach with Frank for many years on the "BlueTeam"! I have so many beautiful memories of our time together! Frank is loved and missed

Mr. Letherby was one of my favorite teachers, growing up. He was a fine educator and a decent person. I was very fond of the way he kept order in his classroom with a bunch of weird kids causing chaos, not to mention the clarity with which he taught. Rest well, sir. You will be missed.

An wonderful man and great Teacher....... I have the best memories of him being my teacher.... RIP Mr. Letherby

Frank, you are so deeply missed by so many. I thank you for the face-to-face, notes, and letters that were always filled with positive encouraging, and up lifting words. My sadness is that I did not get back to Michigan to spend time with you. Rest in peace and teach those angels surrounding you.
