Frank had a heart of gold, he helped me and others thru some difficult times. Playing little league baseball at Kells field were some of the best times in our lives. My condolences to the Lucchesi family, Frank will always be in our memory.

Arlene,
My deepest sympathies over the loss of your Father. I was at my Father's house when I saw it in the Fra Noi. I can remember your Mom and Dad fondly and just want you to know I will keep them, you and your family in my prayers.

Dear Lucchesi Family :
My condolences to you. My brother was active on Franks Little League teams and I grew up with Arlene - attended Ryerson School with her and "hung out" in that great old neighborhood of ours. Those were wonderful, happy childhood days. Having lost my father at a very early age and also my husband several years ago, I can understand your sorrow. Take care,

I have such fond memories of Frank during the time I played in his Little League program at Kells in 1964 and 1965. I played on the White Sox and, at first, I didn't make the draft. Needles to say, I was extremely disappointed, especially since all of my friends were selected by various teams. A few days later, I received a call from Frank telling me to come to his house and pick up a uniform, since I was now a member of the White Sox. I immediately ran from my home at Grand and Central...

Dear Lucchesi Family,
Where do I begin? First, I would like to express my condolences on your loss! I grew up on Ridgeway and was coached by Frank in both baseball & football. I have the fondest memories of those times and of his time & dedication to us kids. I always knew where a could get a cracked bat to play fast pitch in the Ryerson parking lot. Often times I wish I could go back to those simple times. Anyway, I'm sorry for your loss.

To the family and friends of Frank Lucchesi, My heart felt sympathy goes out to each and everyone of you. I am truly sorry for your loss! I played for the Dodgers (minor), Yankees(little) and the Indians Pony League that Frank ran for the Pat Patrone Post. I remember the opening day parades and the hot dogs and pop, too! I still love the game of baseball and thank Frank for all the time he took to run the leagues, prepare the field, and teaching us that we were all important as young men. He...
