Not sure what to say?

I was Franks first assistant instructor at both Mira Mesa studios until they closed. We lost contact for a few years. but I loved him like a brother. He was a great martial artist, person and friend.

My prayers are with his family

Lisa,
I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. Frank was a good man and loved you very much. I hope you find strength through your family and friends during this difficult time. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Teeka and Tanna,
I knew your father well, and he and I had planned to visit one another in the near future, as I live in Huntsville, AL. We go back to 1977, and yes I met him through the Martial Arts. He was a Great athlete and competitor. I saw him again last year and when I last visited San Diego, and as always he had a huge smile and just happy. He told me he was living in Kansas. I asked Frank, why do you now live in Kansas when all your friends are here in San Diego? He said,...

Teeka and Tanna I am so sorry to hear about your dad. He was such a good friend. We started to spar together in 1980 and had some great times playing with pops and Joyce. I am so sorry. words cannot describe how sad I am to hear of this

I am very sorry to hear about Frank's passing. I came up through the karate ranks with Frank. He was a great fighter, great humor, and always the kind of guy that watched out for his friends. I saw him in San Diego for a karate function in the last couple of years and he looked happy.

My deepest condolences to his family.

I just received the news from JA. My deepest and sincere condolences go out to his family and all that knew him. JA and Frank were my best friends in High School. I was the new kid at school and Frank took me in. We played football and Karate together and you could always count on Frank to be uplifting and to keep everyone smiling.
Also as so often happens we lost touch after High School. We did meet a few times years later at his Studio in Mira Mesa and he still made me feel like we...

I went to High School with Frank and I don't remember ever seeing him without a smile and that is how I will remember him.
He was a good hearted person and very fun to be around.
I was sad to hear the news and sad that I had not kept in touch....
God Bless ....

My heart is very heavy right now. I knew your father very well. He went to Emerald Jr. High in El Cajon…That's where we met and we became good friends. While in Jr. High, we used to go watch all the Karate movies together and started taking Kung Fu lessons. I quit after a couple of years, but Frank was never a quitter and earned his black belt in one of the most prestigious Kenpo schools in San Diego. He was known and respected as one of the best black belts in San Diego. In high school Frank...
