Not sure what to say?

Mr. Mannino, as I knew him, was a great teacher and a valued friend. He did everything he could to build my confidence and promote me as a local Drummer. But what I remember most was the discussion we had in his band room office the evening of the Kennedy assassination. He made me understand that no one is guaranteed Tomorrow so make every minute of every day count in my endeavors. Frank I'm 78 years old and still drumming. You were right "in the world of music you never stop learning"....

Forever in our hearts, memories and prayers. Frank Mannino remains a dearest friend as he was to my dad, mom, aunt and us. Heart to heart and soul to soul Let us be forever friends With Love from Mexico Luis Rivas (and brothers of course)

Frank is one of our fondest memories of our many years at Holy Cross - teacher and mentor to our sons, friend to us, and a fine example of a Christian gentleman. We have many delightful memories as band parents, one of which is watching Frank lead the parade on that memorable senior trip to Mexico in 1981, riding on the back of a speeding motorcycle in Mexico City, coattails and silver hair flying. To Milo and Gina, and Frank's wife, our condolences and our prayers are with you.

May...

He was such a great man.
He was my father's friend.
I'm the son of Manuel Rivas.
My blessing will be with you.
I will never in my life forget Mr. Frank Mannino.

What a wonderful personality he was. Always affirming in his nature, I never heard a negative utterance from him. I always respected the fact that he combined a performing and teaching career with such aplomb. Frank Mannino's influence has made an impact in my life.

My thoughts are with the Mannino family.

Charles Villarrubia

He was my favorite teacher at Holy Cross. No band director could match his talent. At Holy Cross he inspired and developed great musicians like Tim Laughlin and Charlie Villarubia.

A wonderful music teacher and school band leader. What great memories!!

TO THE ENTIRE MANNINO FAMILY:
MY CONDOLANCES TO VIRGIE LEE, SYLVIA, GINA, and MILO:

FRANK AND I ATTENDED LOYOLA MUSIC SCHOOl AND GRADUATED IN THE CLASS OF 1951 TOGETHER. I, AS A BAND DIRECTOR, KNEW FRANK WELL IN THE PROFESSIONAL ARENA. WE JUDGED MANY MUSIC FESTIVALS TOGETHER. HE WAS A MASTER OF A MUSICIAN AND LIKEWISE THE SAME AS A MAN. HE ALWAYS HAD A KIND WORD FOR EVERYONE AND ALWAYS HAD THAT IMPISH MANNINO SMILE. HE MADE YOU FEEL SO COMFORTABLE. HE IS, I AM SURE IN THAT...

A model gentleman in the music world, who inspired a multitude! To say that he was humble, is an understatement! I am a better musician and conductor for having known him, and appreciated his heartfelt encouragement every time we spoke. In addition to our treasured conversations, "Mr. Frank" gave me a couple of Jazz lessons. Although I am a trumpet player, I couldn't think of anyone I'd rather have for a Jazz coach. I don't think there could ever be a more respected educator or musician...
