Not sure what to say?

I worked with Frank for 17 years at MCC. It was a privilege. We had a lot in common including our birth years and shared a lot. I felt comfortable sharing most anything with Frank. He was also a good friend. I believe he cared deeply about the college as well as the students, faculty, and staff. He taught me a lot about people. I'm grateful for those years and that we stayed in touch after retirement. Our deepest sympathy to Marlene and the family and all of their loved ones. Dave Seith

To the family of Frank Marczak, please accept my sincere sympathies on the loss of this extraordinary man. For decades he compassionately served the needs of MCC students, faculty and staff by listening and valuing the contribution each of us tried to make. Post retirement, Frank continued to advance the needs of our community at the American Red Cross and as the executive director of the USS Silversides museum and as an advisor for many other local and state organizations. Frank was one of the good ones! I would echo his families' thoughts about his kindly spirit. Having worked with him for 27 years at MCC, I would add that his leadership fostered innovation and quality education.

Frank was a boss, neighbor and mentor to Tim and I. He interviewed me for my job at MCC. We were honored that he and Marlene came to our wedding over 40 years ago, with Frank doing a reading. Throughout my time at MCC, Frank was a source of good advice, laughs, and always a kind word. A gentle man and a gentleman to the end. He will be missed. I am blessed that he was part of my life.

Dr. Marczak was a powerful, impressive, and ever so personable President of Muskegon Community College. He had a wonderful way with people. He was always smiling with a kind greeting, and made everyone feel valued. He leaves behind a beautiful legacy in all he did for the Muskegon community. My deepest condolences to his wife and family. Darlene DeHudy, MCC Former Reference Librarian

When I came to Muskegon Community College as faculty of the chemistry in the Fall of 1997, Dr. Frank Marczak was the president of college. Over the years I knew him better. He was a great person to work with many aspects the of college. Rest in peace.

Frank was such an awesome person and co-worker. I LOVE you Frank and you are truly missed.

Sending my condolences to the family. I had the pleasure of working with Frank at Muskegon Community College.
