I only just found out about Frank's passing. I used to work at Republic in Union Square when Frank worked nearby. I recorded some background vocals not long ago on some music he was working on. He was a sweet man and yes, always in that military jacket. Rest in peace.

I first met Frank when he was working at Crazy Eddie's in Union, N.J. He brought some friends to see me once, when I played at The Dirt Club. I'll always remember him in that military jacket he used to wear.

I went to Burnett and Union High with Frank. He was a smart, funny and talented young man. My sincere thoughts and prayers are with his family.

Frank was the most unique individual that I have ever known. He never strayed from his musical vision and never let anything compromise it. His guidance and wisdom on all things literary and film will be sorely missed.

I first met Frank at Burnet Jr. High School. We later played together in Ulan Bator and also recorded a number of tracks together at his home studio. He was a true individual from the beginning with his own unique vision. I extend my heartfelt and deepest sympathy to the entire Mazza family.
