Not sure what to say?

Dr. mcBaron was very thoughful and kind in my Social Secutity hearing! My husband and I were having a rough go of having porphyria...we got disability from Dr. McBaron's thorough research of our health histories.

I had the pleasure of Dr. McBarron's intellect and wit during the many hours and days we both testified at Social Security Disability hearings for several years. He and I shared a common love of stories as part of our heritage. Between hearings, when he took the floor to relay a story, there was no stopping him. I will surely miss his voice.
My deepest sympathy to his wife Stephanie and his family members.

May Frank rest in peace.
Blessed be the Lord.

Frank became my doctor when I was a student at the U. of Portland in the early 70s, introduced by my aunt a Sister of Providence. He knew my (maiden name) family well. I grew up in the Yakima valley and we had many conversations, about our memories of Yakima. It turned out that the "Nurse McBarron" I worked for as a teenage nurses aide at St Elizabeth's hospital was his mother.

Frank remained my doctor for many years, and became my husband's doctor too. When my father became...

I am one of Frank's many patients who have been touched over and over by his insightful inquiry and his generous care. Frank could see a person with all the particulars of that person and then artfully apply his medical judgements to their particular needs. He was the best clinician I have ever experienced. His intellect and his humor and his joy in life was contagious. Frank was so proud of his family. He often expressed his delight and appreciation of them.
My most sincere...

I had the pleasure of working with Dr Frank McBarron for six years, starting at the office at Lloyd Center in Portland during the late 1980's and ending at Providence Medical Center in 1996.I worked as his Medical Assistant during part of my employment, and found Frank to be an amazing Doctor. He was warm, caring, witty, intelligent and I will always remember those days as being some of the best years in my life. It was a priviledge to work with him, he will be missed greatly by family and...

My sincerest sympathies to Frank’s family and friends. I’m sure Frank had lots more to do and I’m sure he will be missed. I was a classmate of Frank’s at SU, class of '55, and we spent many hours in chemistry labs. Frank was always upbeat and had many stories to tell. He had to juggle a sports commitment with a heavy load of classes and yet kept his humor. I knew he would be a great physician. He certainly brighten my life for a brief time.

To Gerry and your family,

I just read the nice things you said about the time you recently spent with your dad in Vancouver and am shocked and saddened by your loss.

You are most certainly in my thoughts and prayers. He was a dedicated and fine physician as well as a man of great character.

Frank McBarron was my husband, Bill Borgeson's, primary care physician and, after he went into research, guided my husband through a series of medical blind-study tests. I met Frank only a couple of times, but my husband knew him quite well for probably 30 years or so. My husband has so many found memories of him, some quite hilarious. I understand he could dictate patient notes like no one else and that you'd be left with a real understanding of that person! Dr. Barron was a true friend...
