McDonald, Frank Louis age 87, lifelong resident of Mpls., passed away 5/14/08. Preceded in death by daughter, Martha. Survived by devoted wife of 64 years, Virginia; daughters, Ann (Pete) Brennan of Seattle, Cynthia McDonald of Minnetonka and Jean (Larry) Shipman of Colorado; grandchildren, Jaime Sunderland, Ryan Shipman, Trevor McDonald, Lora Brown and Kara Shipman; sister, Mary (Peter) Walstad. Frank attended Blake High School, Amherst College and University of MN School of Law. He proudly served as a Marine Pilot during WWII. After the war he became a Special Agent with the FBI. He was an avid Vikings fan and golfer, and an adventurous traveler with his wife. Private interment Lakewood Cemetery. Memorial service Tuesday 12:00 Noon, with visitation 1/2 hour prior at Lakewood Cemetery Chapel, 36th & Hennepin Ave., Mpls. Memorials preferred in lieu of flowers to Courage Center, Ronald McDonald House or donor's choice. Washburn-McReavy Edina Chapel 952-920-3996
