Not sure what to say?

My first job outside the home was working as Mr. McGrath's secretary at the Capper Foundation from 1981-1987. He was the most gracious, professional, yet kind-hearted and fun-loving boss a young woman could have had. I treasure those years. Everyone who worked for Mr. McGrath had great respect and love for him. He was truly one of a kind. He could put you at ease and make you feel like you could accomplish anything. The children all loved him, and showed it by stopping by his office...

Randy, My condolences on the loss of your father. He did a lot for the Capper Foundation and Topeka Tennis. I won't be able to attend services Thursday but you'll be in my prayers.

My prayers are with the family over the loss of a great man. Capper Foundation was my first job as an occupational therapist in 1964 and he was the best boss I ever had. Frank McGrath was an outstanding leader, mediator, and caring man.

I worked at Cappers from 1976 - 1979. I shall always remember Mr. McGrath as a kind, warm, and gracious gentleman. Cappers propered and supported services to many children and their families under his guidance and leadership. My prayers are with you all at this time.

When I read Frank McGrath's obituary, I became aware for the first time of his many accomplishments and the numerous leadership roles he assumed over the course of his life. He was indeed a humble, unassuming man - a servant leader.

As a social worker at the Capper Foundation during the 1970's and 80's, I had an opportunity to know Mr. McGrath as president of an organization that always put the best interests of children first and foremost. He modeled professionalism and expected...

To Frank's family: I knew Frank as he lived on the same hall as my mother at Pioneer Ridge the past 18 months or so. Although I met him very late in his life, I knew he was special. He always spoke to me and mother's other family members and especially adored my grandniece, Lily. Lily is 2 1/2 years and learned to high-five Frank and always went looking for him. He was delighted with her and they had many special moments together. He obviously had a heart for children and you who knew...
