Not sure what to say?

I wish to share a memory of a wonderful physician who saved my daughter´s life. In September of 1977, Dr. Midgley performed a life saving surgery for my 8 month old special needs daughter at Children´s Hospital in DC. It was a 13 hr open heart surgery for her transposition of the great vessels. A few nights after the surgery, at 1:00 am, Dr Midgley stopped by the room I was in with my daughter. I told him I was in awe of his great knowledge and extraordinary gift. His immediate, humble...

Frank, Friend and colleague for two decades at CNMC. We shared hours of stress, tedium, exhaustion and satisfaction. Moments of excitement, triumph, sadness, and joy. BTW your locker and mine were adjacent and I could always tell when you had taken a post surgery de-compression run after a hard day in room 2! I´ll miss you greatly friend and all the days and nights under the hot lights! RIP Will McGill MD

Doug Rainforth,MD. Albany Medical College Class of 1965 Also practiced general surgery. So sorry to learn of Frank´s passing

Hi we share brithdays with frank I love him grilling and driving the boat and fireworks

Dr Midgely did cardiac surgery on my son in 1978 when Brian was five years old. He saved Brian’s life and I will always be grateful. Dr Midgely made it possible for Brian to live to have a distinguished academic career, to marry and have two daughters, and, now at age 52 , to be an architect in New York working on the design of President Obama’s Presidential Center. Thank you, Dr Midgely! May you rest in peace.

Very well done classmate! Rest in peace! Tony London `65
