Not sure what to say?

One of my favorite memories is when we all rented a tugboat for a week of fishing in Canada. Bob Hacker is first on left then Ann Moe then Frank. We towed our own little fish processing barges behind and enjoyed many lazy days of fishing. What we didn't realize is we were in bunk beds. Many an argument ensued as we jockeyed for the lower berth.

I was a member of Theta Theta chapter from 1960-64. Frank gave me excellent advice not to join the USMC's officer training program. I remained in Army ROTC and received my 2d LT commission in 1966, and served four years active duty; 13 months in South Korea and later 12 months in Vietnam. Both tours were unaccompanied away from my wife and then infant daughter.

Frank told us pledges straight talk "like it was," which I appreciated.

My sincere condolences to Frank's family for...

Frank and I met in 1959 on the basketball court at the Psi U House during rush week at the University of Washington. We were a couple of wide-eyed kids from small eastern Washington towns. Our pledge class was very tight. Soft spoken Frank became known around the House and Campus as "Mumbles". He was quiet but had a subtle sense of humor.

Frank "inherited" his parents rose colored Buick convertible that became our mode of transportation on expeditions beyond campus. One evening we...

Frank was my partner, confidant and all around go-to guy for the 15 years we worked together for 2 different banks, most of that as equal partners and great friends. I have only the fondest memories of the years I knew Frank professionally, and Frank and Anne personally. May he rest in peace. With a glass of great wine in hand!

I met Frank at Seattle-First National Bank when he ran FirstBank Mastercard. I was in the advertising department and he was the best client I ever had at the bank. We became life-long friends with Anne & Frank and have been all over the world with them. Loved travelling with them -- great conversations, a glass or two of good wine and lasting memories. He will be missed.

I worked for Frank at Malden Trust Company for many years. I will always remember him fondly as both a team leader and a man who helped me greatly when my father was ill and I needed help arranging for his care. Frank was a great man whom I will never forget. My sincere condolences to his family.

Always a smile on his face

Jo Anne Hacker here. Reading this brought back so many positive memories. When I first met Frank he was a real up and coming manager at Seafirst and I was just 24. Frank was one of those steady guys with a dry sense of humor that took me a while to understand. I remember I had decided I wanted to invest in the Tacoma Dome Hotel. He told me he would lend me the money but I would lose it all. And I did lose it all. I am 70 now, traveled with Ann and Frank to some great places (fishing...
