He leaves behind his devoted wife and dear companion, Carol P. Morris. His daughter Chris and her husband, Danny Everett, of Buford, GA; his son, Edward Lee Morris of Highpoint, NC. He is survived by eight grandchildren: Cole Everett, Grace Everett, Keri and Brandon Green, Daniel and Lisa Morris, Katie Kegley, Ben Kegley, Zoe McQueen, and Ivy McQueen. Step daughter and step-son-in-law Kendall and Andrew McQueen of Ottawa, Canada, and step-son, Jay Kegley of Greensboro, NC. One brother, Johnny Morris and his wife Dru of Morgantown, NC, and sister and brother-in-law Betty Lou and Johnny Johnson of Radford, VA, and sister Sara Funk of Radford also survive him.

Frank lived most of his life in Galax, and contributed greatly to his community throughout his entire life. He had a long career at American Mirror Company. His easy charm, honesty and integrity made him a favorite of clients and colleagues alike. He leaves behind some very special friends, Thelma Poe, Alma McKinsey, and Robert Boyles.

Frank was a natural athlete and excelled at all sports from football, to golf and tennis. To honor his love of community and sports his family is asking that in lieu of flowers contributions be made to the Galax Foundation for Excellence in Education Fund P.O. Not sure what to say?

In furtherance to the memory of Frank Morris, my parents (Muncey Holroyd Wright and Fredia Dorcas Fields Wright) were next door neighbors on Country Club Lane for a decade or so; Frank was highly regarded within Galax Society and Commonwealth of Virginia business community.

After some seven years, I yet have flash back memories of shared events and one-on-one discourses...always willing to share positive thoughts without political or religious dialogue. He was a personality...

Carol the News of Frank created an emotional wave of unbelief. To realize and recall our seven years as Galax Middle/High School classmates, ten years as my parents neighbor on Country Club Lane, our sharing of golfing passion and collaborating on business deals for his father mirror enterprise and more. And then every fifth year Frank was our 1959 Reunion Master Host... what fond memories including the night before reunion dinner at your home, Carol with your family. My wife, Jordan, so...

Dear Carol and family,
On behalf of everyone at the Blue Ridge Music Center we would like to send our heartfelt condolences. Frank was a very warm and special person who gave so much to the community. May bright memories fill everyone's hearts. We will miss him.
Sincerely,

Dear Carol, John and family ,
I was saddened to hear of Frank's passing from Richard Binswanger. Frank was always a great memory of mine from working with him during my time at Impact/Bassett Furniture . He took life as it came and always had such a positive attitude. He will be missed by all. I hope all your family and friends have brought great comfort during these hard times. May God bless you with good days ahead.
With my sympathy ,

Dear Carol, Lee, Chris, and family;

I was very sad to hear the news of the unexpected death of Frank; your loving and devoted husband, father, and grandfather, respectively. Frank was truly a good, kind, and honorable man, who will be greatly missed by all those who had the honor and privilege of knowing him. Carol, I will never forget how helpful and kind you and Frank were to me in helping me choose standing floor mirrors at American Mirror Company, as gifts for my two sisters....

Carol and family, We send our deepest sympathy and prayers for your loss. Frank was a dear classmate and friend and we will miss his leadership for the class of 59.

Dear Carol and family, we celebrate the good man and good childhood friend that Frank was. He rests in peace. We claim the promise for you who loved him most that the awful pain of losing Frank brings with it the deep mercy of memory.

So sorry to hear of Frank's passing. He was a great person and will truly be missed by many. Will be keep all of you in my thoughts and prayers.

Carol and family,
I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Frank's life will leave a lasting impression on all who met him. As Perry Frye would say "he was one of the good guys." May God grant you His grace and comfort in the days ahead.
