Dick, You taught me the basics of trial practice over forty years ago. I treasure our time together and I will never forget you.

June Lee and Frank were my hosts when I stayed an a social worker's programme in 1971 in Columbus.
I had contact with both of them and with Frank after June Lee had died. I remember them always as very friendly and helpful friends. I had visited Frank last year again.
I will light a candle for him in my church St. Bonifatius in Berlin.

Colonel Nairn, I thank you for the wisdom, understanding, sense of humor, and compassion which you demonstrated over the 35 years I have known you. It was an honor for me to spend some of your last days with you. The strength and resolve you exhibited on those days will be a guidon for me when my time comes. Thank you for being a friend, and may God be with you on your journey.

Rich-I just read this obituary about your Dad online. Jack and I are in Ft. Myers, FL, for two months or I would be with you at the calling hours. I sure remember many wonderful times with your family. Your Dad and his big booming voice! Your Mom and Dad showed many kindnesses to me and to our family. I especially remember our trip to Grayling with the Peltiers that one summer. Your Dad was so respected for his military service in the Ohio National Guard. He was a fine man and I know...

My late husband, Jack Ervin worked for many years with Frank at Columbus Transit (COTA). Frank was a fine man and will be missed.
