Frank was born in New Lothrop, Michigan, on November 24, 1942. After graduation at Ainsworth High School in Flint, Frank dedicated himself to expanding the family’s residence with his carpentry, masonry, and electrical skills. Frank worked long and hard hours to help support the then-growing family, including finish trim carpentry, roofing, industrial welding, and heavy equipment operating. Eventually, he joined an apprenticeship program with General Motors and, after diligent study, college education, and many hours in the factories, Frank earned his Journeyman’s Card as an Electrician. After 44 years of excellent and faithful service at General Motors, he retired.

On August 28, 1972, Frank married Sharon Smith at St. Nicholas Orthodox Church in Burton. Since then, they worked full-time jobs away from home, as well as side-by-side building their life together.

Throughout his life, Frank pursued an active and vigorous lifestyle, loved his family, and maintained his Holy Orthodox faith. He was a fabulous handyman and a jack-of-all-trades around any structure. He enjoyed Polka music, science fiction, diverse intellectual challenges, and family gatherings. Finally, Frank simply LOVED playing golf, watching golf, and analyzing the science of golf in pursuit of the perfect swing; he was almost there when the Lord called Frank onto his journey of eternal life.

Surviving are his wife, Sharon;

siblings, Joanne Oginsky-Lyon, James Oginsky, Joseph (Susan) Oginsky, Nicholas (Diana) Oginsky;

many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and 7 siblings.
