Not sure what to say?

Toni, Frank and Johnny, I just read Lefty's Boys and am overcome with memories of your family, especially Frank, Helen and Toni. I hope you're all doing well and I wish I would have known when your parents passed away so I could have reached out then. Now mine are both gone as well . . . thank you for a wonderful book that ignited wonderful memories! Pam

Thirteen years have passed since you´ve been gone. The pain has lessened but I still think about you every day! I miss you still dad! I love you forever!

Dad, it's been 10 years since you went to be with mom. I miss you so much. I look out my window every morning and say "good morning mom and dad" and then I thank you for the opportunity to be where I am now. I know you are so proud of your children, all of your grandchildren and all of your great grandchildren. I wish you got to meet Russell and Allie. I know you would love them so much. Allie is a girly girl and well, Russell is a typical "boy". I think about you and mom every day and...

Dear Papa,
I have so many fond memoris of you. The funny jokes, like look at the dead birds fly! and the catching of the flies. I remember you coming and watching alexis play softball. I know you are very proud of her and Kaitlyn. There are so many people I want you to say hi and give hugs to. I know you know who they are. You may be gone but never forgotten.
I Love You, your first grandaughter

What a guy ! I always enjoyed being around him as a child and loved to see him interact with my own kids. He will definitely be missed, but never forgotten. My condolences to the entire Papia family.

Tom Brokaw called our parents' generation "The Greatest Generation." Without the accumulated knowledge of the last over half a century, without the technological advances in all fields, with a population the average formal educational level of which was much lower than it is now, these modest, industrious, selfless people carried this country on their shoulders through two world wars and a world-wide decade-long depression. Then they took on the monumental tasks of building cities, highways,...

I never had the joy of meeting you but feel like I knew you through Toni. I know you are happy with reuniting with your wife. I will keep you and your family in my thoughts and prayers. You will be missed but will live on the hearts of your family.
