Not sure what to say?

Gay,
I am so sorry to hear of your loss. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
Love,
Susan Small

Gay,
Don and I were friends as boys at Westminster Pres and attened youth groups and church camps together over the years. We lost touch after I left Greenville to attend college but I still remember his gentle spirit and warm smile. I was surprised to see that we had similar careers, mine in North Carolina, but not surprised that he chose work that helped other people. I know he will be greatly missed and I am so sorry for your loss.

Don and I worked together for many years while he was at DJJ and I at SADAC. His sheepish grin always made me smile, and his soft voice matched his sweet spirit. I was shocked to read of his passing this morning. He often spoke of his wife and Olivia. It was apparent that she was the light of his life. My prayers are with the entire family, now and in the days to come.

The Fairforest Baptist Church softball team would like to offer our condolences to your family. We will keep you in our thoughts and prayers.

I was saddened to hear about the passing of Don. He was my boss in the Oconee DJJ office. He was a great man and will be missed by all. My prayers are with you all through this very difficult time.

I had the honor of working for Don at Spartanburg DJJ, my last few years there as his secretary. Not only an outstanding employer and but a good friend. He will be missed greatly. With deepest sympathy. My thoughts and prayers are with the family.

I am so sorry to hear about the passing of Don. He and I were roommates during the Leadership Spartanburg program.Upon entering a program like Leadership Spartanburg, the one thing that bothers me is having to share a cabin with a stranger. I was blessed to have Don as a roommate. He was a very intelligent person, with a big heart and easy to get to know and respect. He was always a true gentleman and a loving family man. Although it hurts so much to lose a loved one, I pray that you...

It is with deep sympathy that I express my condolences to you, Don's family and loved ones. During the years that we worked together, Don was always a very caring person and was dedicated to whatever he did. He maintained a very pleasant attitude in all situations and was always a wonderful professional.

On behalf of the Spartanburg Umpires
Association, I would like to express our deepest sympathy to Don's family, his church and to his softball team.
His passing will be missed by all. May God Bless you and Keep you always.
