Not sure what to say?

Although we never met, I have always followed your accomplishments. My career was also in aviation. My condolences to the Piasecki family.

I am saddened not only by Pi's passing but also that he never saw his ring tail compound helicopter go into production. I will always treasure my association with Pi as well as Tommy, Bruno and the rest of Pi's team in the early 'research/devel years. He was a great engineer and a great leader.

Frank had just begun work on the successful design of his ring-tailed Pathfinder helicopter when I became his chief illustrator in 1962. He really appreciated my Marine Corps helicopter background, while I provided realistic art of operational situations featuring the Pathfinder and the SeaJeep concepts. Working alongside Tommy and Gus will always remind me of the genius, Frank "Pi" Piasecki.

Fred and Family,
I just heard of your father's passing. I just wanted to express my condolences to you, your family.
In my prayers and love,

To the Piasecki Family - Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you.
Working with Mr. Pi and his "senior" engineering staff was a life experience that I greatly appreciate. His charismatic and colorful personality will forever be remembered with a smile.

From those inspiring, early day speeches from the balcony at Plant 1, you have made the journey onto God's heavenly balcony.

Dear Piasecki Family,
I am sorry to hear of the passing of Mr. Piasecki. I worked for Mr. Piasecki in the early eighties on the Heli-Stat project. Pi encouraged me and paid for me to get my Engineering degree. His influences still guide me to this day, work ethic, honesty, sense of humor to name a few. I still use Pi quotations on a regular bases, as they are always to the point with a humorous slant. If it were not for his guidance I would not be the person I am today!

Dear John, My deepest condolences on the passing of your father. I will always remember with great fondness how he greeted me in Greek and always thought to say something kind about my father who worked for him in the early years at the Morton plant. My parents (Christopher M. Christodolou and Pearl Matthews), who married after meeting at Piasecki, frequently told stories of your father's tremendous charisma and work ethic..and how he rallied employees to work his vision. My mom loves to...
