Frank Harry Pickering, age 83, of Slidell, LA, passed away on Sunday, November 10, 2019. Beloved husband of the late Judith “Judy” Kovacs Pickering. Father of Susan Franklin(Robert Grant), Lisa Mitchell(Greg), Michael Pickering(Nancy), Jeannie P. Van Cura(Timothy) and Elizabeth P. Watson(Robert). Son of the late John F. Pickering and Anne Sachekhick Pickering. Brother of the late Katherine P. Varnak. Also survived by 9 grandchildren, Amanda Franklin, Brandi Mitchell, Alivia Hallaran, Steven Pickering, Brooke Pickering, Allen Van Cura, Nicole Van Cura Guilfoyle, Brandon Watson, Julie Watson and 4 great grandchildren, Liam and Isabella Ossanna, Arabella Smith, Rylie Shields. He was a Mechanic for Sealand Services in New Orleans for 30 years.

A private Celebration of his life was held.

Mr. Frank was a wonderful husband and family man. He loved his children and was always there when they needed him.
He had a heart of gold, at least when I was around him with Sue.
