Not sure what to say?

Coach Pitol was my basketball coach when I was an 8th grader in Mascoutah, IL in 1956-57. He introduced me to the Collinsville High School basketball team with Coach Fletcher, Terry Bethel and their other great players that I wanted to grow up to be as good as. Coach Pitol was a giant in size to me then especially trying to guard him when he played with us. I never saw him again after moving to Mississippi with my parents in 1958. But I've never forgotten him and the influence he had on me. ...

Dear Stan, Scott and Susan. You and I grew up together. I have lived next door to you and your mom and dad for 40 years. I have many special memories of our childhood that include your dad. He was truly a wounderful father, husband, neighbor and friend. He will be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

I knew your father from reffing Collinsville High soccer games. He was an enjoyable, pleasant man. You have my deepest sympathies.

I am saddened at the passing of Coach Pitol. He was a great player and assistant coach for and, more importantly, great friend of my father. No one gave more to Collinsville and the Kahoks. He will be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with you, Stan, Scott and Susan.

Dear Stan, Scott and Susan, John and I send our deepest sympathy on the the loss of your dad. As a 1965 Graduate of CHS, the memory of that State Championship still remains a highlight. Your dad will always be remembered for his love of CHS, basketball and his family.

Sincerely,

John and Diane (Hadfield) Miller

Our thoughts and prayers are with you Stan, Scott and Susan. Your father was an inspiration to so many Collinsville students, as well as the staff that were fortunate to work with him. I'm sure he and your Mom have reunited together in celebration in God's house!

I had the opportunity to work with Frank during the basketball games and enjoyed working with him. He was trully a kind person and a great coach. My thoughts and prayers goes out to the family. He will be missed.

Susan and Family,
I was truly blessed to have worked with your dad. He was truly dedicated to the athletic programs at Collinsville. He always wanted what was best for the athletes. Your family is in my prayers!

Susan, Stan, and Scott I am very saddened to hear about the passing of Frank.
During many years of working with your dad, associating with him in Collinsville sports events, and helping him to protect the Rams cheerleaders for several years I'd gotten to be very close to a "wonderful human being". He was a mentor, friend, and, in my opinion, a genuine good man. He touched so many lives and contributed to much to the Collinsville community. He truly touched my life and the lives of...
