Not sure what to say?

Dow Chemical was at its best during the time of Frank's leadership. I was proud to be a part of the company. I appreciated him very much and still have a folder with some hand-written notes he sent me.

Wayne was fortunate to be working for Dow when you were the CEO of Dow Chemical. You were an amazing person. Wayne highly regarded your management and personal skills. It was a blessing for us to be there during your time at Dow Chemical. Wayne passed away last May. We had many great memories of our time at Dow Chemical Chemical.

When I joined Dow my first assignment was working for Frank on a marketing project. I graduated from Purdue and Frank and for years would place bets on Indiana / Purdue basketball games . Over the years we would have many enjoyable conversations about about Indiana basketball and about moves within the company. He was both a great leader and friend. He will be missed. Mr Popoff was a very friendly man, treated everyone kindly. I co-oped in the Legal Department who worked closely with his office while he was CEO of Dow Chemical. At the Christmas Party one year I remember him stopping in and saying Merry Christmas to us all! Very sweet man to take time out of his busy schedule to stop for a few minutes to take care of his employees and make sure they were having a good time. It didn´t matter if you were up at the top in the company or at the bottom, he...

All I can say is "WOW" - what a career!

As a young product manager at Dow I remember getting a note saying he wanted to talk about a piece of mine that was written up on hard stock paper and physically mailed (back then called Dow Today). The note was about my view that sales people too often "ask for the order" putting the burden of the decision on the buyer rather than respectfully indicating appreciation for the order and how...

Frank was a brilliant and successful businessman but more importantly, a kind and generous human being who helped people, with no expectations of receiving anything in return. I'm profoundly grateful for everything he and Jean have done for our family. My father was always so proud of Frank and what he accomplished. I'm sure that they'll have plenty to reminisce about. Our sincere condolences to Jean and the rest of the family.
