Penfield entered a team in the 1957-58 Elkco Men's Semi-pro Basketball League and "Cheech" Provenzano organized and coached the Penfield team. I played on a St. Mary's team in the league and remember "Cheech" as a great guy! Bill Gaffey, Harrisburg, PA

I knew "Cheech" from back in the late 60s, playing baseball against the Penfield team in the old JC Baseball League. I also would also run into him at Parker Dam as he was making deliveries to the concession stand.
"Cheech" was a good guy to be around and talk baseball. For sure, he was "old school" type of manager
