Not sure what to say?

We think of you often Grandpa and you still bring a smile to my face every time I do. Love you. Say hello to everyone up there, see you soon.

Grandpa, It has been a year since we have been together for your last birthday. Just thinking of you today and how wonderful it was to take a break from it all for a quick winter visit to Florida to see you and Aunt Evelynn.

I can only say, what a blessing to have had someone so special, for so long. God has called him from us to join many more we so loved. I believe I'm number 7 of the grandchildren, and to Grandpa I can only say...

"Thank you Grandpa for your unconditional love, and passing it along, not just to your son, but to all the Rieder's. Wonderful memories are many! From way back when of sledding and warm tea, swinging off the basement stairs as many before had done on the floor joist...

Dear Family of Frank Rieder:
We know the beloved man you lost, the Father, Grandpa, Uncle, Friend, we loved him also. Please except our sympathy, and know we also grieve. He and Pauline took me into their home as a child at 18, and loved me as their own. Such BIG HEARTS are seldom found. He was a "true Gentleman" in every sense of the word. I know they are reunited in Heaven. And we will all see them again someday. Much Love to all of you, the seeds of them, so blessed. All Our Love,...

Thank you Grampa Rieder for the example of a good life well lived. Love always, Bruce.

Uncle Frank,

The world has truly been graced by your being in it. You lived your life with the grace, wisdom and perspective that only 108 years can provide. I will always admire and attempt to emulate your passion and kindness. My children and I will always treasure your memory.

With Much Love,
Joanne, Clifford and Brittany

How befitting that tribute is made to you in the nations oldest newspaper. In 108 years you have touched so many lives and hearts your legacy shall live on forever. With six children, fifteen grand children and seventeen great grand children you have amassed such wealth. Rest peacefully knowing you have accomplished what few can and that you will be remembered for many decades to come as we reminisce all the wonderful years we spent with a loving, caring person.
