R.E. Rogers Funeral Home - Belfry Obituary

Frank J. Robinson, 71, of Sidney, KY, passed away Monday, August 29, 2022, at his residence. Frank was born March 30, 1951, at Pikeville, KY, the son of the late Ester "Oscar" Robinson and Farandia Clark Robinson. He was also preceded in death by his beloved wife, Shelby Robinson, children, Joey Robinson and Alisha Robinson and sister, Bobbie Zornes and brother-in-law, Eddie Zornes. Frank was a retired auto mechanic teacher with the Pike County Board of Education, a former Pike County Deputy Coroner, member of Stone Lodge #890 F. & A.M., and the Fraternal Order of the Police. Survivors include his children, Farandia (Dominic) Robinson-Bartone of Wilmington, NC, and James F. Robinson of Dix Fork, KY; one brother, Donnie (Cathy) Robinson of Hatfield, KY; grandchildren, Haley Robinson of Sidney, KY, and Noah Robinson of Hatfield, Ky; one great grandson, Ezekiel Robinson of Sidney, KY, and many other family and friends. Funeral services will be held Friday, September 2, 2022, at 1 PM in the R.E. Rogers Funeral Home chapel with Roger Mullins officiating. Visitation will be held Thursday, September 1, 2022, from 6 - 9 PM in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow in the Smith Cemetery, Sidney, Ky, with his family and friends serving as pallbearers. R. E. Rogers Funeral Home of Belfry, KY, is serving the Robinson family. Frank was a wonderful patient, a great friend, but more like family than anything. He always had a smile on his face and a joke to tell. I'm really going to miss you buddy. We love you, rest in peace my friend.
