Not sure what to say?

Was a real good man kept many Fair Haven Kids in shoes and their families out of the Red,including mine.Rest in Peace Frank.

i just found out We so very sorry for your loss, you now have another angel looking out for you. our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

I knew him as Mr. Rosano in his store on State Street in Hamden during my childhood. He must have supplied shoes to ever so many neighborhood children who grew up during the post World War II era. I remember going to the shoe store with my mom. She would have a couple of dollars in an envelope designated to pay part of our bill at Rosano's. With four children in the family, there probably was a running bill every week. He extended credit at a time when Visa and MasterCard did not yet exist. ...
