Frank was a wonderful man who helped me develop my critical thinking skills. He always treated you like an adult, an equal. Going to NY with him for the model UN was an unbelievable experience. He will be missed.

I´ve always thought and spoken of him as the most inspirational and impactful teacher/person in my life. If the world had more Frank Rosengrens teaching his lessons on critical thinking, the world would be a much better place. I´ll regard myself and others who knew him as among the lucky ones.

We called him FDR, Franklin Delano Rosengren. Peter Tosh and Marley posters in his office. Thrilling trips to NYC for model UN. He drove the FHC van across the diag at UM, weaving between the anti-apartheid shanties. A great teacher and human.

Best.Teacher.Ever Frank Rosengren was a master at making us think!! He was a huge influence on my decision to become an educator and for that I will always be grateful. Love and peace to you all; keeping you in my heart at this difficult time.

Frank rosengren was the most influential teacher of mine at FHC. I absolutely loved his approach to the job, dedication to his students, and fearless pursuit of knowledge. He inspired me to join the IRC and also travel to Washington DC on the first CloseUp trip in 1975. He helped me find my voice as an individual during numerous classroom debates, especially those in which I stood alone. And he taught me the importance of listening to opinions that I found idiotic and abhorrent for they teach...
