I have very fond memories of Dr. Sadler.
Once I asked him to be my valentine. He asked me what was he required to do as my valentine...I said, "bring me candy!"
He did! Tough teacher, good guy.
My condolences, but I bet he left many with good memories.

Very sorry to hear of Dr. Sadler's passing, and my heartfelt sympathies to his friends and family. I was lucky enough to have him as a teacher during my high school years at Forest, and I learned so much from him. He was a tough one, but to get a compliment from him meant you really EARNED it. I admired him a great deal and thought fondly of him often as I pursued a career in social work and education. I went through a lot as a teen, and I honestly believe without a few good teachers, my life...

Dr. Sadler was perhaps one of my favorite teachers at Forest High. He taught my 11th grade English class. I learned so much from him. Very sad to hear of his passing. I have much sympathy for the Sadler family.

I had Dr. Sadler for English at Forest and loved his class and his teaching style. May you cherish your memories of him and know that he touched the lives of many while teaching in Ocala....God bless...

I am sorry for the loss of Dr. Sadler, i had him for my English teacher at Forest High School class of 91. Yes he was a hard teacher, but I appreciate it still to this day. God will get you through this difficult time. Pamela Lofton
