Not sure what to say?

Since we moved 6mos we have not attended church regularly and trully felt it's effects. Today we attended and discovered in the bulletin that Monsignor passed on; how sad...Sad that he left and sad we didn't know about it because we neglected our faith. He was a happy & Kind man who could always bring the church to a smile in his closing statements. I think his most comical statement was how he would go to Florida to test the palms each year, when everyone knew he was really testing his...

Msgr. Sammons you will be missed at St.Pats and St.Matthews.

You were a really nice priest. I will miss you so much. We loved seeing you at our school, shaking hands, making us smile. I will miss you so much.

Msgr. Sammons has to be one of the kindest, respectful, soft-spoken, humble men I have ever met. Many, many people will remember him over the years for all that he did with the CYO and youth athletic programs in the diocese. Way back he will be remembered for all he did for the Northside CYO and the Bishop Foery Day Camp. He was a good friend of my Dad's over the years and always remembered the staff at the Northside CYO right up to this past Easter & Christmas with some delicious candy. ...

Father Frank, you will certainly be missed by all. I played ball in the old CYO and I remember he attended a few games. One game he attended was between my team and another CYO team and we were beating them up pretty good at half-time. As we left the court at half-time they yelled at me Hey Gunner go Home. Father Frank came in our locker room and said Dadey keep chuckin them up there. I always remembered that and we became friends for life aft6er that. God Bless Donna and Dave and all the...

To the Family of Rev. Frank L. Sammons, I must say that it was truly a pleasure and honor to know such a wonderful gentle man. When Msgr. would perform mass at OLLS, the same day I would lecture, I felt so blessed, and it was truly an honor to be in his presence. I also was able to spend time with him while he was waiting for a ride home from having a visit to the ER at Crouse. Again it was a pleasure to be with him. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. Sincerely, Kathy...

The children at St. Matthew's School will truly miss your daily visits. It was a joy and privilege to know such a gentle man.

The heavenly athletic program has now received a new leader. I am so very greatful for the friendship and inspiration of Father Frank during my officating career. He supported us officials just as strongly as the athletes, coaches and all participants.
