Not sure what to say?

My mother Dorothy Schepers Pickens and my aunt Marie Schepers Blossom were cousins of Fr. Frank. Their father was Charles Schepers. I was thinking of him only this morning, searching to learn more about my family, when the search of his name brought me to the sad realization he is gone. I was there in 1955 as a child when Fr. Frank was ordained. My grandfather was our connection as family. I will miss knowing he was here even though it has been many years since I have seen him.

My Dad, Art Brulez and Fr. Frank were childhood friends and we often drove to Wea to visit him. My parents had great joy visiting and remembering the "olden days" with this wonderful man of God. He will be greatly missed by thousands of friends. But now he celebrates the Father in "the Fullness of Time".

Many years ago when my father-in-law Joe came for a visit from Ohio I located Father Frank for him. They served in WWII together and developed a close friendship. Father Frank was a radio operator while serving in the Philippine Islands with the US Army. Every year when my in-laws visited I would take Joe to see Father Frank at his parish in Wea. Joe recently came for a visit in September and we went to visit Father Frank. He was so glad to spend time with him. They reminisced about old times...

Fr. Shepers was one of my most belovid teachers and friend. Fr. taught me at Ward, I attended daily mass with my family at Wea. I think of him daily and will miss his presence.
