Not sure what to say?

I was visiting a friend in Colorado Springs in probably the early eighties, when my aunt, Lorene Shelton, invited my friend and I to their home for lunch. Frank came home for lunch that day, so I was privileged to meet them both then for the first time. They were both so warm and friendly. My father, Charles McCallister, was Lorene's brother. I had grown up hearing Lorene and Frank's praises, but, having been raised on the west coast, I had never before had the opportunity to meet them....

An outstanding scientist who contributed so much...A wonderful man and a great friend to many...His memory lives on....

Frank gave so much to so many of us...A great man and a wonderful friend. His memory lives within me...

Dr. Shelton was an outstanding individual....He was also a great friend. He was an inspiration to many of us...I will always treasure his friendship.

Dr. Shelton was truly a brilliant man and a gentle, kind one - I will always remember him this way from when I worked at Kaman Nuclear/Kaman Sciences in the 70's and early 80's. Peace be to him and his family who mourn his passing.

I'll always have a special place in my heart for Frank.

I have so many wonderful memories of him when we were growing up together in Boulder City, NV. I learned so much from him, and will miss him. My memories of Frank are happy ones, funny ones, kind ones—snapshots of generosity, wit and especially humor. We shared a paper route together, went on to college together, joined the Army together, got lost hiking down to the River together.

We have keep in close contact for...

Dr. Shelton was an inspiring and insightful man to work for, in the '80s at Kaman Sciences.

Although I never met him, I have learned a lot about him from his daughter, my friend Gwen. He was an amazing man, and I would have loved to have known him. I'm sorry for your loss!
