A high school friend...

Smoke was one of my mentors in my early 20s. I learned much from him and I am grateful for all he did for me. We gave him the title of "Godfather" of our group back then. It was a fitting title as all of us in that group greatly respected him. He was a man of great family values and commitment. My condolences to the whole Smolko family and especially Ann. He will be greatly missed.

My condolences to the family. I worked with "Smoky" for many years at Gannett Fleming. He always had a pleasant attitude and smile. I cherish the time I spent with him.
