Frank and my father Jack go back over 60 years to Gaynor news in Mount Vernon. When Frank went to the Times they still remained very good friends until my fathers death and I remained good friends with Frank until his death. It was my privilege and pleasure to have such a good friend. He worked very hard for the NMDU members. RIP

Frank was a good man. Everyone should celebrate his life. He did things his way he was a stand up guy. He helped many along the way. We enjoyed many Sunday morning coffee talks through the years and he made the best eggplant parmigian we ever ate... and that comes from my wife! RIP Sparo!
