One of my first meetings with Frank was at the Four Seasons restaurant. He interviewed me for the Travelers board. He taught me the key KPI‘s in the insurance industry. I worked at Guy Carpenter and while I had limited interaction with Frank, I knew him to be a hands-on leader who interacted with the staff, at all levels. I had the pleasure of dining with Frank at the Italian Club in NYC for Edmund Megna's 25th anniversary with Guy Carpenter. At some point that evening, Frank turned to me and asked whether I knew what the problem was with this establishment. I said no, and he said, "too many Italians".
