Not a day passes that we don´t speak fondly of uncle Jim he was always an inspiration and a remarkable uncle we miss him and hope his immediate family realizes how much he meant to all of us.

My dad, William Elcoate and Jim were cousins. I have fond memories of family gatherings in Michigan, and spending time with Jim and Winnie while vacationing in Florida when I was a child. Most recently, my mom, aunt Jayne, and I visited Jim back in March 2020. We went to lunch and spent the afternoon visiting at his home. We sent birthday cards in July and I told him that he was the only person I ever sent a 100th birthday card to! We’re so glad to have had this time with him, and send or...
