Not sure what to say?

Frank - I know you are happy in Heaven, because ... I know that's where you are. Why the Lord hasn't chosen to call me home yet is a mystery, but when we get back together, I know we'll have a great Strumming-and-a-Singing time. I still can't believe it's been 11 years since Frank "graduated". Every time I look at my guitar, I think of Frank.

My First Real Go-Kart David E. Thompson 6/23/23 I´m embarrassed to say that the first go kart I built was awful! I used a lawnmower for the propulsion, and added a piece of plywood for the frame, and had a tiller-like lever for steering. No brakes, but then, how fast did a lawnmower go? The weirdest thing was, I did it without planning. I just built it. When it was all together. I found the steering was backwards! I was mortally embarrassed, but, what the heck. I was the only kid...

Frnak wasn't just a good man or an acquaintance, he was a FRIEND! Thomas Jefferson High School in Port Arthur had one day a year, called Texas Day, when the seniors got to dress up in western garb. Almost everyone wore a six gun, hat, and boots. Some added things like cigars, bandanas, etc. I'm including photos of Frank in his Texas Day outfit, and another photo of Frank and Jim Havard in a western duel pose. Those were wonderful days!!! So many great memories.

God knows, I loved Frank Teller! He, Jim Havard, and I struck up a friendship in High School and we were like the 3 Musketeers. We had a wonderful time together through High School and College, but eventually life spread us out.. But, we never lost touch.

There were many nights and weekends Frank and I would spend picking and singing. Actually, I would sing and Frank would do the picking. He was so dang good at the guitar, while I was a strummer.

We also met a...

Frank and I were the two youngest members of our high school class. We both played in the Thomas Jefferson HS band,,,,,Frank on Bass Clarinet and I on Alto Clarinet. Of course we sat close to each other and traded lots of stories. Summertime after some hurricanes we worked for McDaniel TV and reinstalled antennas that had been knocked down by the passing storms. Those summers we actually got to the point where we could finish each others sentences. Moving on to college at Lamar we were in a...

Here is one of a million memories I have of Frank.

One weekend while seniors in High School (TJ) Frank Teller, Jim Havard and I went out past Pleasure Pier for about 5-10 miles to do some target practicing. We stopped at a random location out in the middle of nowhere, and found that someone had been there before us, and had set up a large crate 3'Tall x 3'Deep x 4'Wide with a selection of tin cans on top. We were on a slight rise about 150 yards away from the crate, and each of...

I'm so sorry for your loss and wish I had known about the Monday night jam. I would love to have honored my old friend Frank with music! I still can't quite get over it...I never look at the obituaries, but I knew God led me here. May his love give you peace.
