Not sure what to say?

I attended IS49, I was a tenor in his class and he e the best memories of this clas and Mr.Timari. An amazing man all around.

Dear Roberta, Alison, Joshua and family, I recently read that your beloved husband and father passed away. Please know that I am thinking of you. I remember the good times we had camping, canoeing on the Delaware, and attending the bible study in your home. Fondly, Jeanette Minucci

Thankyou to all the kind souls who posted a memory of Frank. He loved his occupation and often remarked how the students might have been resistant to some of his vocal music choices but after they put in the hard work and practice, often came to love their years under his teaching. One graduating 8th grade student wrote after 3 years with him, “I believe that I speak on behalf of everyone that we are very thankful for your endless dedication. Moving on to high school I know I’ll never find a...

Frank was my supervisor at Morris Intermediate school where I worked as a choir teacher for many years. He was a quiet but supportive supervisor and excellent musician. It was a pleasure to work under him. I was very saddened to hear of his passing. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family.

So sorry to hear about Mr. Timari's passing. He was my piano teacher at I.S. 49 back in the late 1980's... a class and an instrument that I loved. My prayers go out to you and your family at this difficult time.

So saddened to hear about Frank’s death. Roberta, I have so many wonderful memories of the times shared with you and Frank. My family send their heartfelt condolences and prayers to you and the family during this time. Carol Sottile

Mr. Timari was a great teacher and even better man. I attended junior high 49 and my best memories were in chorus! So sorry for your loss. May Mr. Timari Rest In Peace.

I’m so sad to hear this news. Mr. Timari was my Assistant Principal, for the Math Department, at IS61. He was a true professional, kind, respectful, and respected. As a newer teacher, he acted like a mentor, not an AP, passing along his wisdom to me and he was always eager to learn new math strategies from me as well. I always believed he was a great loss to IS61. Sending prayers and love to his family during this difficult time.

My heartfelt condolences to the family and friends,I was one of his students at IS 49 and he was such a wonderful teacher,he taught us patience, how to write sheet music and how to enjoy what music had to offer,he was so full of life when he loved a song and taught me to let my voice flow and not to force it,I will always keep him in my prayers,Sleep in peace
