TROJANOWSKI, Frank T. - Of Flint, age 87, died Sunday, June 1, 2008 at Hurley Medical Center. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11AM Thursday, June 5, 2008 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 2500 North Franklin Avenue in Flint, Father A. Santhiyagu, officiating. Burial in Crestwood Cemetery with a military graveside service under the auspices of VFW Post #822 Honor Guard. Visitation 3-8PM Tuesday and 2-8PM Wednesday at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road. Frank will be at the church from 10AM Thursday until the time of the Mass. Frank was born in Bath, New York on April 26, 1921 the son of the late Anthony and Katherine Trojanowski. He married Jennie Solon on June 12, 1948 in North Branch, Michigan. Frank proudly served in the United States Army during World War II and was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and snowmobiling. Frank retired from Buick Motor Division in 1980 after 32 years of service and was a member of UAW Local 599. Surviving are wife, of 60 years, Jennie; daughter, Barbara and husband Charles Brown of Flint; son, Frank "Bo" of Traverse City, Michigan; 2 grandchildren, Mary Montgomery of Combes, Texas, Charles T. and wife Kirsten Brown of Little Rock, Arkansas; 2 great-grandchildren, Derek T. Sexton and Shannon E. Montgomery; sister, Jeanie Seroka of Rochester Hills, Michigan; brother, Leon Trojanowski of Lapeer; many nieces and nephews.
